ARCO Concrete, Inc started as Intermountain Precasters April 1st, 1986 making one product, the roof paver. Founded by Russ and Tammy Carr with its first location in Commerce City,  ARCO soon adopted other products including splash blocks and wheel stops. In 1989, ARCO began expanding into custom architectural products and acquired the name ARCO Concrete, Inc. Their first custom job that year was producing custom parapet cap for the Orowheat/Entenmann's building in Denver. In 1997 ARCO Concrete, Inc moved to Ft. Lupton and built a new production facility that would allow them to better serve the construction industry with commercial and residential products. Since then, ARCO has thrived on providing an exceptional work environment for its employees and unparalleled products for the communities of Colorado and surrounding mountain states. Today after 34 years in business, ARCO has a vast catalog of mainline products, have adapted new technologies, and boast custom capabilities beyond any of their competitors in the region.  

Precast concrete is made in a production facility then shipped to its final installation location. Precast concrete has unparalleled quality compared to CIP (Cast In Place) concrete applications. To the majority of industry professionals, precast concrete is the preferred approach to concrete construction.
